Burano

The fishing island of Burano is extremely colourful - the boats, the houses and the people. We enjoyed a lagoon cruise even though it was a bit wet & overcast. The rain stopped by the time we got to the island so we then toured the small island, admiring the local crafts and colour, we then feasted at a local restaurant with local dishes of pasta, risotto, fish, fruit, biscuits & coffee. It felt like we had been welcomed into the owners home. We went back to the hotel full & satisfied.
